My style is simple - to tell a story, your story.

Wedding photographers often pigeonhole themselves with a certain style of shooting - documentary, reportage, formal, informal, classic, contemporary - but I’ve found the best style is just to be adaptable to you.

​

For me THE most important consideration is capturing emotion while creating a beautiful visual narrative of your day.  I’m passionate about what I’m creating and I hope that shows in my images.

​

Around 90% of my wedding day coverage will be discreet candid shots, capturing the day as it naturally unfolds. Most of the time you'll forget I'm there - and that's the way it should be.

​

But I also love to whisk you both off for a relaxed 20 minute portrait shoot at some point, with a few finessed but simple poses.  I want to make beautiful portraits of who you are as a couple, show that love and connection between you, what makes you unique as a couple.

​

Of course if you wanted 100% candid documentary that’s absolutely fine by me. I’ll never force a couple to shoot photos they’re not comfortable with.

​

Photographing a wedding is a huge privilege, it’s one of the biggest days of your life, packed with emotion - and I make sure I never lose sight of that.

​

But your big day can fly past in a blur of excitement, and its my job to capture those memories for you, those special but often fleeting moments...a glance, a smile, a tear.  With beautiful and stylish images I'll help you relive the love and the laughter, the joy and the emotion over and over again.

And let's be honest, a wedding day should be fun - you should be having the time of your life!  Wedding planning is stressful enough, when you finally get to the big day you’ve earned the pleasure of just relaxing and enjoying it all, and I’ll make sure the photography side of things is fully part of that enjoyment.

And if you want to kick off your heels and jump on a bouncy castle with your bridesmaids I will wholeheartedly encourage it! I might even suggest it to start with...
